This is not a bad movie but not a good one. I think it had great special effects for its' time; however, the story was pretty typical of the fantasy genre. I didn't think they really decided if this was a movie for children or for adults.
It doesn't really hit in the middle of those categories either. It was funny at times, but I look at this movie in the same way I look at Ewoks. They're not really bad, but at the same time you kinda wish they weren't there.
