Rats, you say? Yes, lots of them. As people say, rats aren't necessarily scary, but what makes this so entertaining (and yes, frightening) isn't the animal talent but Crispin Glover's performance.
You get to watch an isolated and initally rather sweet man go slowly insane and indirectly homicidal.
