Review of Willard (2003) by Elliot R — 22 Mar 2008
This film succeeds in freaking me out because of my predilection towards hating rodents. Other than that, the story is okay with a genuinely creepy performance from Glover as the put upon son and employee getting his own back on the world.
Music is used to good effect, and the CG is subtle. The pace of the film is fairly slow though so prepare yourself for this, perhaps with the room lights left off and the 5.1 sound pumped up for the best chilling effect.
