Review of Willard (2003) by Paul C — 28 May 2008
A remake of the 1971 film by the same name, "Willard" stars Crispin Glover as Willard Stiles, a shy and insecure man still living at home taking care of his old mother and is constantly pestered by his boss Frank Martin (R.
Lee Ermey). But Willard's life takes a strange turn when he makes a white mouse his only friend and names him 'Socrates'. As times gets harder for poor Willard he soon also uses Socrates and hundreds of other mice to get back his boss.
This is a great little horror thriller much thanks to the excellent Crispin Glover, who is perfect actor for the role, but also thanks to a solid script and some well trained rats.
