Wow Willard a once timid, mundane, anti-social,and quiet person turned completely obsessive, psychotic, deranged, and unfortunately he's misunderstood but wow to train rats to do your bidding that's crazy plus I thought of Willard as the modern day Pied Piper plus rats are creepy enough but I understand their misunderstood creatures but I didn't know there was a 1971 version of the movie.
Great cast and overall I enjoyed the movie.
