Review of Willard (2003) by George F — 10 Jan 2004
A good performance by Crispin Glover and some nice effects with swarms of rodents are not enough to maintain interest through the dull plot and thin acting by others in here. While this re-make has a few creepy moments, they are not enough to make it the nice, tidy horror story it could have been.
Worth renting if you have no other movies lined up, but you won't be significantly terrified unless you hate the little squeekers. And, in that case, you'll be grossed out rather than scared. Heck, there weren't THIS many rats in King Arthur's old dump!
