I bought this movie a few years ago because it has rats in it. However, I'm not a big fan of it. I just don't like how Crispin Glover's character uses the rats for evil and doesn't appreciate them.
He's more interested in the power he has over them. The book (The Ratman's Notebook)was worse, though.
