Review of Willard (2003) by Sharron F — 01 Aug 2007
I haven't seen the original, but I did enjoy Crispin Glover's performance. I don't know his work all that well, and many of his bit roles are simply quirky for the sake thereof, but here he really capitalizes on what makes him a compelling actor.
He takes the role and the plot completely seriously. Admittedly, I'm the sort of person who loves these kinds of characters, and I love rats, so I might be a wee bit biased.
