Review of Willard (2003) by Neil K — 06 Mar 2008
Crispin Glover electrifies every scene in this dark little romp about a man so lonely he creates an entire social structure with, well, rats. Glover's trademark manic performance style is a perfect match for this lost character, and it's great to finally see his talents utilized in a role.
Certainly not a perfect film, but engaging enough for a few choice moments of deep emotional resonance.
