Review of Willard (2003) by Jamison R — 06 May 2010
Fetishistic, demonic and yes, quite brilliant. Chilling family drama in the Freudian as WIllard never seems to escape the shadow of his parents. Great camera work propels the story and excellent sound adds to the general air of weirdness.
When they get it right, the Americans make better intriguing and entertaining off-beat films than anyone else.
