Review of Wildling (2018) by Matt T — 12 Jun 2018
I decided to give this movie 5 stars. I think it is well deserved as the entire budget for this film is a mere 2 Million dollars (well in movie terms that is a very low budget) and I've seen some movies with a budget over 50million and switched it off about 15mins in, so it just goes to show a massive movie budget doesn't necessarily mean a great movie.
The acting was good enough to keep me captivated in the movie and the in depth story of a young wildling finding herself was a very interesting concept.
Don't expect to have any super scary jumpy scenes because this isn't that type of movie.
It's nice to see some low budget films coming out with a different storyline and not something that has been recycled a million times.
A Quiet Place is another movie on a low budget that has done really well.
Unfortunately Wildling wasn't in the cinemas in South Australia but If they were to make a sequel to this and was showing I would definitely go and see it.
