It was a great film but putting Jake gyllenhaal's cringeworthy overacting at times, Ed and Carey shined the most . Carey Mulligan gave an oscar worthy performance and one of the best performances of 2018 hands down .
When I see the potential list of oscar contenders this year I wonder how performances like this don't make the cut . She was soulfyl, nuanced and heartlfelt in her acting. She's one of the all time greats, mark my words.
