While this isn't quite as blatantly disgusting as The Hills Have Eyes, it's in a similar vein, and the copious amount of violence destroys what could otherwise have been a great movie. The dogs are massive overkill, and the gore is at least several steps too far.
Too bad, because the plot is actually quite good, and with less gross-out factor this would have been a much more entertaining movie. As it was, I just spent the entire time trying not to be sick.
