Review of Wilde (1997) by Frances T — 26 Sep 2007
I watched this film as part of "The Stephen Fry Weekend" not knowing much about Oscar Wilde. I had read 'Lady Windemere's Fan', though and enjoyed it! This film entranced me. I got so wrapped up in the story, and the fact that Wilde had faced so much persecution really upset me.
Fry was brilliant in the role and really made the film special in my eyes.
