Review of Wild Tigers I Have Known (2006) by Clayton D — 14 Dec 2007
A dreamlike portrait of a young awkward boy unsure of and/or discovering his sexuality. At moments I found the movie a bit disturbing to watch - perhaps the director's intention was to make the viewer relate to the main character, but mostly one feels like a peeping tom.
A distinct filming style anyhow, with intentional black screen moments leading the way from dreams to reality and back. I liked it. Extra points for the lovely ending song by Emily Jane White!
