Review of Wild Things (1998) by Justin O — 07 Oct 2012
While there's a lot of misses on a technical level, solid acting and a surprisingly deep mystery make the movie much more enjoyable than it should be. Between the well set-up but surprising twists, decent mix of melodrama and comedy, and underlying air of corruption against a South Florida backdrop, this feels more like a Carl Hiaasen story than his self-written adaptation of Striptease.
