Review of Wild Target (2010) by Mike G — 26 Jul 2010
Middle aged hitman, the best in the business (Nighy) falls in love with his latest target (Blunt) and decides to protect her from the replacement assassins hired to finish the job. In a comedy story involving stereotypical stupid heavies, psycopathic mothers and a hobbit, the laughs are laboured and obvious.
Gregor Fisher raises a smile when the hobbit shoots his ear off but on the whole, despite the starry cast, this film is easily forgotten.....
