Review of Wild Target (2010) by Ed Fucking H — 10 Mar 2011
A Hitman (Bill Nighy) is contracted to kill a con artist (Emily Blunt) but is unable to bring himself to do it as he has grown weary of the hitman lifestyle. He ends up saving her from the next Hitman hired for the job and then they are both on the run from said hitmen, accomanpied by an innocent civilian who just so happened to find himself in the middle of the violence.
A touching romance begins to blossom between Blunt and Nighy and thy both learn something about themselves along the way. Entertaining enough, and heart warming sure but it's never a good thing when a so-called comedy fails to make you laugh even once.
The whole thing was just too mushy for me and the action to subdued. I wouldn't say that this is not worth seeing if you go for this sort of thing, I definently don't though. The Romantic Comedy genre has never ceased to bore me and this is no exception.
