Review of Wild Target (2010) by Ashish T — 31 Mar 2013
The story's nothing to write home about, but manages to be reasonably quick, funny on the (barely!) right side of slapstick, and it's vastly entertaining watching Bill Nighy try to do a John Cleese, Ron Weasley learn to shoot, Emily Blunt do a Zooey Deschanel, Rupert Everett do a Kevin Kline, a surprisingly effective and bizarre role by John Watson, and someone that looks remarkably like an evil Marshall from HIMYM.
Of course, it tends to wear thin and go predictable sooner than later, but you can;t help thinking how much better it would have been if it'd been done by the A Fish Called Wanda cast.
