Review of Wild Target (1993) by Raymund J — 28 Aug 2010
Wild Target is a British action comedy about a middle-aged, organized, straight-laced professional assassin (Bill Nighy, Billy Mack from Love Actually) who hesitates on his most recent target, a pretty young and fashionable but really chaotic and egotistical flirty thief/swindler girl (Emily Blunt).
Thereâ??s also a young guy who is a natural shot with a gun (Rupert Grint, Ron Weasley from Harry Potter) who the assassin has adopted as his new apprentice. Together, the assassin and his apprentice keep the thief girl alive from the last guys she swindled, who are now trying to kill not just her but all of them.
Funny, cute, exciting, and altogether a uniquely great movie.
