Review of Wild Target (1993) by Andy S — 22 Apr 2011
A wild and pretty funny British comedy. Some aspects just work better than others. I loved most of the characters: Victor (Billy Nighy) and Rose (Emily Blunt) were multi-faceted and interesting. However, I kind of liked them more separately than when they shared time together.
that's odd coming from me since I usually prefer ensembles. But, some of the situations seemed forced when made to be together. Case in point: the entire character of Tony (Rupert Grint). His character was poorly conceived and written and therefore messed with a lot of the flow of the story.
Also, Rupert Everett's characters seemed underdeveloped. Nonetheless, it's enough of a careless and entertaining screwball comedy to still enjoy.
