Review of Wild Target (1993) by Tania M — 19 Oct 2011
I rather enjoyed it.
It is a slight let down to see such great actors in this silly little film, there could have been so much more. But it's not too disapointing.
There was a bit too much effort put into the script to keep a constant stream of laughs going, but it was still funny.
I liked the fast banter between the characters where words just seem to flow between them. The dotty, cleptomanic and zaney cast make for a good laugh at dark comedy.
It is just sad to see that Rupert Grint is doing the same character over and over again.I'd like for him to chalenge himself a bit more and take on a few dramatic roles, it's hard to judge talent if he's always playing the sidekick.
Not as good as it could have been, but still enjoyable.
