Review of Wild Tales (2014) by Ahmed S — 02 Mar 2015
Wild Tales is simply an exercise of madness on screen. With six tales that push the word insanity to a whole new level, it gives you the most tense of moments that you've seen all year. A movie that uses the theme of revenge to show us stories about political corruption, capitalism, the obsession over power and standing for one's principles, all delivered in the most satirical and gut wrenching of ways to construct an overall bad-shit-crazy ride.
You can connect to Wild Tales on so many different levels, whether you're angry at your government, questioning your marriage, can't get over your past, or even just can't let go of how stupid other people drive their cars around you, you will re-visit those emotions in some of the tales, to say the least, and you don't have to be from Argentina to feel that.
