One of the greatest art house films I have ever seen. A fantastic, deep look into a person's life and what it amounts to when it is over. Ingmar Bergman broke through with this film following his masterpiece the Seventh Seal, with creative imagery and memorable sequences.
A film you can't help but leave feeling emotionally connected to.
