Review of Wild Strawberries (2012) by Jake W — 17 Aug 2009

Classic drama of an aging doctor who reminisces of his past, loneliness, and the thought of death. Even though at this point I have only seen The Seventh Seal, I like the fact that Bergman, in the face of inevitably dark circumstances and downfall, he leaves open a chance for redemption and hope.

Seeing how Isak reconciles himself and his past makes me believe that good can come out of even the coldest of people. Just simply a beautiful film.
