Bergman is a genius, plain and simple. Victor Sjostrom delivers a touching, even heartbreaking, performance. And Ingrid Thulin is one of the most ridiculously gorgeous women I've ever seen. Their dynamic was one of the many strengths of this deep, emotional film.
