Review of Wild Strawberries (2012) by S M Maniruzzaman M — 29 Apr 2012
Found it a bit slow and dry in the beginning. But it's photography is really watch-worthy. The way Bergman explored Isak's psyche was very innovative in 1950s. Still it remains fresh. I'll value it because of Bergman's competence in such complex issues from isak's nostalgic memory of love to the emptiness of his old age existence.
Bergman showed great courage and passion to film such a original story in such innovative way and also with a novelist's competence. so although slow, none can deny it's introspective value...
