Review of Wild Strawberries (2012) by Alan L — 28 Jun 2013
I will love this film today, tomorrow and always.
A sweet and bitter strawberry delivered from our Master Director Ingmar Bergman. That first dream image was gorgeous.Doctor Isak,a cold and selfishness doctor but his heart is actually in a benevolent side.Sadly, due to his cold side, the woman that he loves chose his brother(especially the scene when Doctor Isaak smile to this lady and he said "But it hurts so".) while his wife left with other man, really hurt isn't it.Loneliness.I do feel sad for his mother too.
A good lines from the granny,"Ten children and all dead except Isaak.Twenty grandchildren,Elvad's(Doctor Isaak's son) the only one who comes to see me.Don't get me wrong,I'm not complaining.Fifteen great-grandchildren whom I have never seen,I send present for all their birthday.I get letters of thanks but nobody BOTHERS to visit me."Aren't this situation happened to some of us too?
