Surprisingly hilarious. Emily Dickinson is resurrected and feeling quite fine about it, I believe. Small budget clearly. Shot quickly, no doubt. Wonderful? Oh, yeah! The mark of a worthwhile film is one that you think about the next day, week, month, year.
You will think about this one every time someone mentions Emily Dickinson as a dour old maid again. Instead, you will see she was ahead of her time in so many ways. I bet she id smiling about how this portrait of her turned out!
