Review of Wild Is the Wind (1957) by Sv G — 29 Nov 2008
Wonderful Classic film starring a favorite of mine, Anthony Quinn as a rancher who after his wife dies, sends for her sister (Anna Magnani) from Italy and marries her trying to continue his life. She never feels love, he doesn't face his grief and the young man (Tony Franciona) he raises as his own has an affair with his new wife.
..unfullfilled angst and large heart-felt emotional explosions Anthony Quinn style and directed by George Cukor.
