This is odd: Basically, it's a Disney movie format, but for adults. Cheesy music, silly plots, and childish antics; throw in a few crass words and adult humor, and that's the movie. It could've been a successful kids movie, but gearing it to adults doomed it.
In other words, it's too stupid for adults and too inappropriate for kids.
