Review of Wild Hogs (2007) by Christopher S — 08 Mar 2011
Overall, this movie is straight cookie-cutter "mid-life crisis/ road trip gone bad"...With that said, the overall performances were good. William H. Macy always seems to entertain in just about every character he has portrayed. Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen and John Travolta were all very good as well.
The movie itself is a goofy slapstick comedy with a lot of lowbrow humor, but that's what generates the laughs. This movie is amusing at times, if not outright hilarious. If you are looking for a serious dramatic story, then this is the wrong movie for you. But if you want some light laughs, this movie will probably do it.
