What is it about straight comedies that critics just hate? I suppose they want Oscar Wilde -- wit for intellectuals. It's a CRIME that this movie was universally panned. I mean, this movie was hilarious.
I kept expecting it to lose steam, but it was funny from beginning to end. Judging by the audience's constant laugh-out-loud reactions, this is a movie "for the masses"... not for conceited, condescending, uppity critics.
