I didn't even know that this movie existed until it appeared in one of the Xbox Live Netflix pools. Katie suggested it because she used to watch it all the time and I have to say that I'm glad I pressed play.

This is not a bad movie. It's a very good period piece that likes to punch you in the emotional face like every five freakin' minutes. It's about a girl who's parents die and then who's aunt takes her in but hates her because she's difficult.

It's set during the back drop of the depression. The aunt decides to turn her over to the government and keep her little brother, so she runs away and joins a circus group that's all about women on the backs of horses that dive off of like.

..30 foot towers into pools of water. It's some crazy shit, but how much of this is based off a true story, I don't know. You can never be too sure when it says based off of a true story. Anyways, it's a good film.

Period. It's not so long it's boring like Seabiscuit, it's just a good dramatic film put out by Disney of all companies. It also proves that chick from Burn Notice was in other shit too before Burn Notice which I didn't know until I watched this film.

I'm not going to tell you to run to the video store and rent this movie, but if it's on TV or in one of your netflix pools and you don't have anything else that you really want to watch-give it a shot.

It's not bad.
