I love Statham, so I am bias to any movie he is in. This is just straight-ahead action plot. I don't like how these movies have become a novelty. Too many "blockbuster" action movies try to create an elaborate story line and the dreaded twists that really should be saved for a drama/mystery movie.
Just give me an ass-kicker who doesn't come across the screen as vulnerable and has simple, yet memorable lines. Statham gives us that throwback hero. I wish there was more action and more Sofia Vergara in this movie.
No real other complaints..great rental.
