Review of Wild at Heart (1990) by Gordon B — 23 Mar 2008
The cinematic equivalent of a dog chasing its tale. Unlike Lynch's other work we do not see the waking world long enough to appreciate this fever dream. Its hard to get into the insanity of a film when there is no SANITY to escape from.
Mallick's "Badlands" is a similar and superior work.
