Review of Wild at Heart (1990) by Shawn-Ray M — 13 Feb 2010
I love Lynch and how he can make bizarre films that leave you discussing them for weeks on end as well as taking "normal" stories and making them utterly surreal. This is the latter. In its way it's like Lynch's version of True Romance.
Although not my favorite of his movies I still found it enjoyable, though, admittedly, not so much until it was well on its way, leaving normality behind and moving into the bizarre. This is where Lynch truly shines and made this movie work on all levels for me.
