Review of Wild at Heart (1990) by Hannah M — 27 Dec 2011
An erotic and aggressive assault to the senses in the most haunting Lynch tradition. "Welcome to my 90s", he exclaims to us while we see a "wild and weird" road trip adaptation of Bonnie and Clyde with pervasive surreal undertones.
Not bizarre enough? Be patient my dear demented fan; the second half awaits you with the craziest ideas and camera angles seen in the year, and these ideas alone place Wild at Heart barely above any Natural Born Killers.
83/100.
