Review of Wild at Heart (1990) by Ivan D — 02 Jun 2009
A disturbing road film with great performance by Nic Cage. It is violent and erotic at times, but behind those is a simple love story between two individuals. The film will heavily remind you of Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers", minus the killer instincts of Stone's protagonists.
One of Lynch's more understandable films, but still have the fair share of his trademark imagery and the genuine artistry of his other works.
