Review of Wild at Heart (1990) by Conner R — 09 Nov 2009
I appreciate this for being so incredibly offbeat. Even for David Lynch, it feels like the road trip from hell. I think this is the most comedic that Lynch has or ever will go. The characters are so screwball in nature, that you can't help but laugh when they try to make sense.
Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern are just so good together that it's almost scary, it really felt as though they were head over heels and bat shit crazy in love.
