A weekend with three films that just exhaust you emotionally (Whiplash, Imitation game and Wild). All in different ways but still you feel like not getting up after the film is done.
Before today, I never really thought much of Reese Witherspoon, but she has proven now once and for all that she is just not Legally Blond or that girl from Alabama who ditches McDreamy on the altar. This film is so inspirational, scary, yes, but makes you want to find your hiking shoes and try them out on a trail. Not on THAT trail, mind you, no matter how beautiful it was. Also it brought back a lot of memories of gorgeous places around Northern California mountains. And it made me think of another gorgeous film about walking on a trail: The Way with Martin Sheen.
