Review of Wild (2014) by Rodney L — 06 Feb 2015
Jean-Marc Vallee is really good at directing individual pieces of the movie, but has a harder time connecting everything for a wholly satisfying package. Still though, it is a really good movie with a raw performance from Witherspoon.
I also thought the flashbacks were really well done, even if they were occasionally excessive, especially when we want to see her struggles on her incredible journey.
