Review of Wild (2014) by Andrew C — 22 Feb 2015
A lot of grit, sand, and profanity, which, while understandable, and relatable, wasn't particularly poignant. I guess I did enjoy Dern's maternal life-lessons, but Witherspoon's alternating between withering under the sweltering heat, and simply plodding on, does reflect life's sometimes tortuous journeys -- which isn't necessarily pleasant to watch on film.
