A poignant film about suffering (both mentally and physically) and a woman's quest to heal herself. Not surprised Witherspoon got an Oscar nomination for this, her nuanced performance carried the film.
The magnificent landscapes emphasize the emptiness Cheryl feels inside her. A moving and thought-provoking film with an uplifting ending.
