Review of Wild (2014) by Melissa A — 10 Apr 2015

I never read the book, but it was nice to be surprised about what would happen throughout the story. It was nice seeing Reese in a darker and more serious role and she did an amazing job with it. Some parts were a bit gross, but I'm more of the squeamish type.

The flashback scenes were disjointed, so it was hard to piece the story together leading up to her decision to do the hike. Like she'd be a kid one minute and an adult the next. Or we'd see scenes where her mom already passed on but then her mom would be alive and well later on.

Overall, an interesting movie that I'm glad I got to watch.
