Review of Wiener-Dog (2016) by Graceweinerdog — 30 Jul 2016
This was a very disappointing movie, the worst I have ever seen. The characters for the most part were very unlikeable people with a couple of exceptions. The most likeable characters in the movie other than the little boy in the first scene were the wiener dogs themselves who were handsome, healthy looking and well behaved dogs.
The star dog was played by two or more dogs. The story was of a wiener dog who went from one dysfunctional and life threatening situation to the next. The transition from one situation to the next was less than clear.
What I considered sick and depraved in the movie to others may have been considered funny but trust me it was not. Seeing sweet dogs at risk and worse to me was not entertainment. Save your money, your time and your sense of what is healthy and good entertainment and pass on this movie.
It was a truly want your money back experience.
