Review of Widows (2018) by Nat T — 24 Nov 2018

Used so many repetitive tropes. Predictable and boring. Good cast. The mayor looked like the mayor from Whoville though and I couldn't stop thinking about that. Seriously, he had the greying sideburns and everything.

Also I don't remember any of the characters names other than Markus and I'm not sure if the blonde's name was Jessica or Jennifer but that's all I remember. Every single trope was used in the movie, and I thought it would subvert my expectations but the only expectations that were subverted were mine, thinking that it wouldn't keep using tropes after tropes.

I was so excited for a female heist and violently let down. Could've been better.
