Stunning masterpiece by one of the most artful directors of our time. As its directed by Steve McQueen dont expect a simple heist movie. Expect a movie with powerful commentary about Race, Gender, and politics masquerading as a Heist movie.
If you don't want your conventions challenged, or are hoping for oceans 8, skip this one. If you you want to watch the work of a filmmaker who in comfortable with making you uncomfortable, watch this film.
The cinematography is damn good too..
