Review of Wicker Park (2004) by Jim W — 29 May 2009
In Wicker Park, Josh Hartnett skips a business trip to look for his lost love (Diane Kruger). He thinks he saw her while having dinner with his girlfriend and her father. His girlfriend doesn't know that he's actually still in NY.
While trying to find his ex he meets a woman with the same name (Rose Byrne) . She lives in the apartment that he thought he tracked his ex to. Oddly enough she has feelings for him right away and even gives him a key to her apartment. But could she know more than he thinks ?
I actually remember the movie ending differently . I prefer the way I thought it ended since I didn't really hate Rose Bryne's character. That's probably because I'm a guy and I thought she was cute lol. The movie has some surprises and is well acted. I just got confused sometimes since I didn't know when I was watching a flashback or current time. It jumps back and forth too much.
