Review of Wicked Little Things (2006) by Jeffrey L — 02 Feb 2010

This horror movie is about a mother and her two daughters that move into a new house up in the mountains near a small town, where there's a local legend that a bunch of zombie ghost kids come out to feed every night.

Now how does that not sound awesome? Sadly, the movie isn't nearly as good as it sounds. Sure, the main actors, including the child, are all really good and have great interactions with each other, and the zombie kids LOOK freaky, and there's a damn good amount of gore. Those are about the only good things.

As I said, the main actors are great, but the supporting cast is horrible. This is a by-the-numbers ghost flick, where just about every single scene was ripped off from another ghost/haunted house movie, and me and my friend had a game going on to see who could name the movie it was ripping off at any given time, the fastest. Also, you'd think a movie about killer zombie kids would at least be somewhat freaky...it's not. Not at all. The music is also very generic, and that's the rare times it's even present.

I diffinitly say skip this movie, as there's nothing all that good here and it's just one rip-off scene after another.
